Do you have the smile of your dreams? If not, the dentists at Advanced Dental Arts of Winnipeg has many cosmetic dentistry options available to help you achieve the attainable goal of having the perfect cosmetic dentistry smile. Dr. Jacob and Dr.Abells, the well-known Winnipeg cosmetic dentist team, can help you whether you have chipped, cracked, crooked, or stained teeth. Dr. Jacob and Dr. Abells can also help if you have dentures and live in, or near, Winnipeg. Our procedures vary, but we can discuss with you what the best options are to design your perfect smile.

Cosmetic Bonding

We can fuse enamel like material to your natural tooth structure to eliminate spaces between your teeth and repair other minor imperfections such as chips, cracks, or stains. The color of the material can be matched to your natural tooth color. This type of procedure can usually be done in one visit.

Porcelain Veneers

Veneers made from porcelain are a perfect way to create a naturally beautiful smile. The porcelain is securely bonded to you teeth and can increase length and whiten your teeth. It may even be possible to bypass orthodontic treatment by using veneers to close spaces and straighten your teeth. Dr. Jacob and Dr. Abells can tell you if this is an appropriate option for you.

All-Porcelain Crowns & Bridges

A porcelain crown can be used when your tooth is weak because of decay. The porcelain provides a natural look, covers, and protects your tooth. It can also be used to form a bridge between adjacent teeth to replace a missing tooth. A porcelain crown or bridge is strong and durable.

Dr. Jacob and Dr. Abells can perform a crown procedure in as little as one office visit using Cerec 3D technology

Whitening

Whitening your teeth can be safe, easy, and quick. We have two options for our patients including at-home whitening.

Using our custom-fitted whitening trays, your smile will be brighter and whiter in as little as two weeks. You can wear the trays day or night and the results will be better than using store bought products. Give us a call and we can set-up a time to create the custom-fitted trays and you can be well on your way to a brighter smile.

‘White’ Composite Restorations

Composite restorations are a natural healthy alternative to conventional metal amalgams. The metal fillings require removal of large amounts of the natural tooth structure while composite restorations do not. Another plus is the natural look of composite fillings compared to the dark look of metal fillings. We can provide you with stronger, more natural looking teeth with composite restorations.

Gum Tissue Esthetic Therapy

Do you have a gummy smile? We can change that for you by using gum tissue esthetic therapy. Doing so can create longer teeth. We can also use the procedure to fill gaps in your gum line and in more complex cases where dental implants or bridges are used. It can also be used when there has been trauma to the mouth.

Porcelain Inlays/Onlays

Porcelain inlays and onlays can be used to repair cracked or eroded teeth. This procedure is typically used instead of crowns when there has been a large amount of damage to the tooth. Inlays and onlays are custom formed around the rough surface of the tooth and strongly bonded in a seamless fashion. A crown would need a more uniform surface. Our inlays and onlays are made out of porcelain allowing for a more natural look to repair damaged teeth.

Dental Implants

Dental implants can be used to replace one or more missing teeth. Implants can also be used to secure dentures and restore complete functionality. Implants also help keep your jaw strong and will bring back a beautiful, natural smile.

If we recommend dental implants to create the smile you’ve always wanted, we  will refer you to a specialist in implant placement. Dr. Jacob and Dr. Abells do create the esthetic restoration on the implant.
